There are people who tend to look back into their past so often that they don’t have time to enjoy the present; others live in their dreams of future. To my mind, the both groups of people are missing the most important period of time – the present, which is where they live, what they do and what they really are. Let us consider what the most wide-spread reasons for such unreasonable behavior are and the ways out of them.
Sport is one of the most useful activities in our life. It not only secures healthy body, but also shapes our world perception, changes attitude towards life for the better and helps to overcome difficulties. People who go in for sport usually succeed in professional sphere and are more satisfied with their lives than those who lead passive lifestyle. So, in what way does sport influence people’s character?
With the invention of television our life became more fun. We received a great way of entertainment, and now in order to relax, we just have to push a button and find a program that is the most interesting for us. We can choose a show most appropriate for our current mood, whether it is curious, sad, fun, or any other. But let us consider the habits that television has developed in us.
There are some general problems that a person tries to solve for many years, maybe for the whole life. Who we are? Why are we living here? What is our mission in life? What is our place in the society? Each person has different preferences, demands and opportunities, which is why the answers to these questions differ greatly. Moreover, there are such moments in our life, when our own answers change, and one of them is college.
Effective leaders are such people, whom it is almost impossible to replace. In order to lead their company/group to success, they have to possess different characteristics and profound knowledge not only in their field of competence, but also in psychology, management and other spheres.
When people reach the age of 18, they plunge into a world of new opportunities and liabilities. From now on they are considered full-fledged members of society with all that it implies: they can take responsible posts, marry, and do everything that is not prohibited by law. They start to make important decisions considering their life and future and start to learn how to live independently. That is, of course, the best course of events, but it is not always so.
Our life will become much better if we eliminate physical punishment of children completely. If is one of the practices, which no modern parent must resort to, as it doesn’t bring any good at all – neither to them, nor to their children. Unfortunately, not everyone understands it. Let us consider why some parents still consider this measure appropriate and what drives them to beat their children and make them miserable.
Motivation is one of the most important things in each matter. If the person lacks it, he is almost sure not to reach the necessary results and not to meet expectations. I believe that it is one of the main reasons why students fail to achieve their parents’ and teachers’ hopes. They just don’t clearly see what for.
From the early childhood our parents explain what is right and what is wrong to us. We believe them, from time to time testing their patience and trying out whether what they say is true or not. This period of experiments usually lasts till the age of 14-15. Then we have already acquired a considerable amount of knowledge about the surrounding world and don’t think that anything can change our views. But there are certain periods which do influence our world perception greatly, such as college, university, work, marriage, having children and many others.
Many countries in the world have already abolished mandatory conscription to the military forces, some don’t have armed forces at all, while there are still nations where this conscription is obligatory. Everything depends on the significance of the country on the international level, the influence it has on the other countries, as well as the plans and ambitions of each government.
