Our life will become much better if we eliminate physical punishment of children completely. If is one of the practices, which no modern parent must resort to, as it doesn’t bring any good at all – neither to them, nor to their children. Unfortunately, not everyone understands it. Let us consider why some parents still consider this measure appropriate and what drives them to beat their children and make them miserable.
Motivation is one of the most important things in each matter. If the person lacks it, he is almost sure not to reach the necessary results and not to meet expectations. I believe that it is one of the main reasons why students fail to achieve their parents’ and teachers’ hopes. They just don’t clearly see what for.
From the early childhood our parents explain what is right and what is wrong to us. We believe them, from time to time testing their patience and trying out whether what they say is true or not. This period of experiments usually lasts till the age of 14-15. Then we have already acquired a considerable amount of knowledge about the surrounding world and don’t think that anything can change our views. And here the fast food option emerges and many people make use of it. Let us consider why it is so.
There are people who are double-faced and have two different characters – one for the public and other for close friends and for the time alone. Usually, these two faces are completely different and even opposite. Not only is such double life irritating for surrounding people, but it is also hard for the person as well. Too much energy is spent on sustaining two images, and if one of them will become known to the other group of people, the reputation will be greatly damaged and can hardly be renovated.
Cities, especially large ones, offer a lot of opportunities to people who live there. They perfectly suit people with great ambitions and high expectations from life. Still, not everyone who was born and brought up in the city is satisfied with the surrounding atmosphere and longs for life in a village. So, what kind of people prefers city life and why others strive to move to the country?
Many students cannot understand why professors urge them to get involved into different extracurricular activities and how this may be beneficial for them. To my mind, grades are one of the realities that make students feel miserable and confused. Moreover, they aren’t always fair and can completely eradicate the desire to study in a diligent manner. If another person, who is not as assiduous as you are, still gets the same grades – why bother and spend sleepless nights hammering at books? And all of this is solely due to grades and their effect.
