Introduction
Nothing can be better than having a travel getaway. This is a vacation I want to take with my friend. I plan to travel to Lake Powell in Arizona. It is Popular for the great canyon at the border of Utah. Having done enough research on the place, the vegetation, mountains and the coast is worth the visit. I did all the research online with the help of my friends. On this trip I plan to take my best friend along. We settled on the day that we were going to travel. The best time for us was during the summer holidays after we had closed schools.
Yellowstone National Park
Yellowstone National Park is an international biosphere reserve, one of the unique objects of the UNESCO World Heritage, the first national park. Yellowstone was founded on March 1, 1872 by President Ulysses S. Grant. The National Park is located on the territory of three states – Wyoming, Montana and Idaho. The Park spreads for 3,468 square miles and is famous for its numerous breathtaking geysers and other spectacular geothermal phenomena, astonishing variety of flora and fauna, and picturesque landscapes. Earthquake is one of the most horrific and devastating natural phenomena, which can cause great damage to the areas it take place in, prolonged economic chaos, and even kills scores of innocent people. The worst thing is that this incredible destructive force can occur quite unpredictably, as it’s a sudden slip in the earth’s crust, causing the earth to shake and bringing huge harm to society.
Bermuda Triangle, or the Devil’s Triangle, is one of the most mysterious regions of the Earth. The patch of the Atlantic Ocean, allegedly triangular in shape, has been blamed for an unusual number of mysterious incidents, generally – disappearances and discoveries of ships deserted by their crews. There is a great many theories explaining it, ranging from unusual natural phenomena (e.g., magnetic abnormalities or uncharted oceanic streams) to gateways to parallel universes and activities of extraterrestrial creatures. Some people even state that it is one of the alleged Vile Vortices, twelve roughly evenly placed regions of the Earth characterized by paranormal happenings, the most well known being the Bermuda Triangle itself, and the Devil’s Sea near the coast of Japan. However, the majority of scientists state that the matter is very much exaggerated and the Triangle is no more mysterious than any other part of the World Ocean.
India is one of the oldest countries in the world, full of charming and attractive historical sites and challenging and mysterious stories that were laid in the foundation of Indian cities, regions and even buildings. India is the country of contrasts from architectural and cultural perspectives. If you want to amuse yourself with food, culture, language, clothing and various traditions, India is the right place for you to visit. With the population of over one billion people, India is very multicultural and each of the twenty eight states in the country has its unique identity that determines and directs its history.
Canada is an amazing country and it would be not fair to talk only about such ordinary and boring aspects like economic development, mining industry or political system – the things which would never attract neither you, nor any other curious person. Australia – is a terrific country with its history and culture! It was discovered during the campaign of the new territories discovering. The Soho district was created at the end of the XVII century and today it is predominantly a fashionable district of London’s bohemia. The China Town and Covent Garden are also a part of Soho. The ancient political district of Westminster is known for Buckingham Palace – Queen’s Residence, the Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey.
