Arguably, technology has changed various aspects of human activities. As a matter of fact, many beliefs that technologies have brought a lot of tremendous developments that are more applicable and influential to human beings. Cloning and genetic engineering are among the many developments issues brought by technology. Many view that the development of genetic engineering and cloning holds the potential to solve several humankind problems.
Breast Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
This research proposaldiscussesmy area of interest, which is Breast Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), and how it is poised to become the next ‘gold standard’ in breast screening, by dethroning mammography, which currently occupies such an eminent status. At the same time the proposal also tries highlighting the importance of NOT using Breast MRI as a screening tool for women already having a history of breast cancer.
Emerging infectious diseases (EID) and pandemics in humans and animals represent considerable threats with social, economic and health implications. South East Asia has been on the forefront of potentially pandemic viral mutations and infections, including H1N1 influenza 09/ Avian flu and H5N1.
In applying for this fellowship in cardiology, I am reminded of the expression we had on our unit that if you want to see how valuable a minute is, look at a man who missed a train, but we say go the chest pain unit. I will always remember that first day when as that day when my cardiology fellow got a pager from the ER physician that there was a patient with STEMI. He literally ran down the stairs because there was no time to use the elevator, ran in to the ER seeing the patient, checking the EKG and calling the attending physician all at the same time. He was not the only one who had that response, but rather everyone did, including the nurses, technicians, and transport staff. They all kept in mind that time is muscle and did their best to send the patient to the catheterization unit within fifteen minutes.
Introduction

The compounds interact in two phases which are the mobile and stationary phase. The technique helps in analyzing, identifying, purifying and quantifying unknown separable mixtures. The mobile phase is either a liquid or gas which moves the solvent through the stationary phase during the process. The stationary phase is a liquid or solid component that is fixed in a place for the procedure.
Abstract
The eyes form quite an important part of the body. They are very sensitive as compared to the other parts. The main of the eyes is to facilitate a person’s ability to see. Situations may arise whereby the visionary capacity of an individual becomes affected and the normal way of seeing is hindered. A good example relates to Cataracts which form part of these hindrances that lead to eye problems. A cataract is but a cloud that undergoes development in the eye more specifically in the crystalline lens. It can also develop in the lens capsule (Cassin and Solomon 1990). A cataract varies in degree ranging from slight to total cloudiness hence hindering the passage of light into the eye.
Artificial sweetener is, basically, a replacement for sugar, the main difference being that the sweetener has fewer calories than its natural analogue. It is of white color, powdery and has no particular smell. Although it is said to be a sugar substitute, it is important to note that these substitutes can be subdivided into natural (for example, agave) and artificial sweeteners (e.g. aspartame). This report will expound on aspartame in particular. In 1965 chemist James M. Schlatter, working in G.D. Searle & Company, discovered this sweetener albeit by accident, when he was working on an antiulcer drug candidate.
Medical science has advanced to such a degree that two separate women can be involved in giving birth to one child. What was considered to be infertility just a couple of decades ago can be biologically conceivable today through surrogate motherhood. Surrogacy is normally sought for when a couple has difficulty in conceiving and bearing a child. This difficulty in conception can occur due to a variety of reasons. There could be biological, physiological and sometimes, even psychological reasons for difficulty in conception. A surrogate mother can be chosen as a substitute to bear the child instead of the real mother.
Doctors are some of the most highly paid professionals all over the globe. Especially in the developed countries, doctors can earn extremely high salaries and become wealthy. The medical profession is therefore highly sought after by many youngsters in an effort to achieve success in life. Of course, there is nothing wrong in becoming rich. Everyone wants to prosper and improve their status in life. But when it becomes the sole purpose and takes precedence over everything else, life can go out of balance. Since the medical profession is a noble vocation, doctors need to keep their priorities right and focus more on service, than gaining wealth.

The medical use of marijuana as a natural cure has enabled doctors to effectively administer it as a drug for many ailments, including many life threatening illnesses.
