The freedom to choose is one of the most basic needs of man. Without the freedom of thought, the freedom of expression and the freedom of choice, man cannot function in the way he is designed to be. A government that rules over a nation, therefore, has to provide its citizens with the freedom to choose their own rulers. This is the reason that people in democratic nations are able to shine and live a life that makes a difference in this world. People have different attitudes, mindsets and outlooks in life. Most of these behavioral traits arise from their upbringing. Children normally learn by seeing what their parents do and copy them to a large extent. They don’t respond to instruction as much as they do to visual examples. When the father smokes, the child would end up smoking too, even if the father instructs the child against the habit. Thus, children are more influenced by what their parents do rather than what they say. If parents want their children to behave well, they should show this behavior on their own example and not just by instructions.

All of these great leaps in space exploration have showcased the relentless pursuit of man in furthering his understanding of the universe that he lives in.

Some might be talented in sports and other physical activities. Others might be good at arts. Thus, it is difficult to typecast people into a single mould.
Wherever there are laws, there would always be people in this world to break them. The need to enforce laws and punish lawbreakers is an inevitable part of life. People go against the law due to many reasons. Although the founding fathers of the United States were overtly Christian and based the constitution on the Biblical values and ideas, there have always been others who have opposed the involvement of religion in state affairs. So, the row over the separation of church and state is not a recent issue.
