Rules for writing a medical thesis are the same as for writing any scientific thesis. Still, there are some peculiarities of the subject, which can be best shown in the following example of medical thesis.
Dyslexia is a learning disorder that affects attention and emotional perception of the patient and is generally observed from early childhood. This disorder first of all affects reading and spelling. According to the latest studies, about ten percent of the population suffer from dyslexia. Dyslexia can affect the whole family and affects the person for his or her whole life. Nevertheless, it can be minimized by applying special ways of working and learning, especially on early stages of life.
It is impossible to cure the disorder completely and, therefore, dyslexia requires consistent treatment. A person, suffering from dyslexia can be helped by development of training program, which would be tailored specifically for the individual, and based on the weak and strong sides of his or her learning abilities.
The purpose of this study is to analyse the most effective methods of dealing with dyslexia on the examples and analysis of existing technologies and methods, implemented and practiced in the major institutions, specializing in the treatment of dyslexia disability. This study will be concentrated upon the organization in the UK and will include twenty four different organizations in the analysis of the treatment methods. In the scale of this study we have also asked and received permission to invite for the interview several patients from each of the clinics.
